Happy #menumonday, friends!
November is here and I’m so looking forward to it. The last couple of years, I’ve committed to participate in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), but this year, I’m taking a more relaxed approach. I still plan to work on my current work in progress, but am not making it a huge commitment this year. Instead, I’m looking forward to focusing on thankfulness for the month of November as we head into Thanksgiving and then the Christmas season. November is going to be interesting for us this year. For example, my schedule at work gets messed with this month, starting with this week being parent/teacher conferences. Then we will have Veteran’s day on 11/11, and then a normal week before a short week for Thanksgiving. After that, it’s almost December! We are packing a bunch into this month, including potlucks at church, visiting friends, a quick “just us” getaway, and of course, Thanksgiving! As a result, some of my weekly menu plans will look a little different this month.
Here’s the plan for this week:
- Monday: Chicken Burrito Bowls
- Tuesday: On Your Own (late night for conferences for me)
- Wednesday: Pizza
- Thursday: Chicken Stir Fry
- Friday: Chicken Piccata
- Saturday: Leftovers
- Sunday: Beef Stew
