Happy #menumonday, friends!
It’s birthday week! I love birthday week! I’m turning 44 this year, and I feel pretty good about that number. I’ve always loved my birthday, though, so I don’t let the numbers get me down. Another year older means that I’m still alive to celebrate, so I will celebrate!
I’ve mentioned a few different times around here that one of our family’s birthday traditions is to let the birthday boy/girl choose dinner on their birthday. Usually for my birthday, it means we go out to eat so that I don’t have to cook. This year we can’t go “out,” but we will probably get takeout from one of my favorite restaurants, and then bring it home to enjoy a low-key evening.
Here’s the plan for the week:
- Monday: Chicken Burrito Bowls
- Tuesday: Chicken with Bearnaise sauce
- Wednesday: Leftovers
- Thursday: Tacos/Taco Salad
- Friday: Potato Soup
- Saturday: My Birthday! Birthday dinner TBD
- Sunday: Lentil/Quinoa Curry
