A little poetry for you today:
I am waiting for the seaThe sand and the wind and the waves
As we meander through pines and hills
The paths we have travelled together
The sound of the sea in our ears
The pull of the tides on our hearts
Fresh, green air filling our lungs
Calling “return to me”
I wait, tethered to the mountains
I wait, dreaming of the waves
I am waiting for the sea.
